Free, multi-week NAMI Education Programs include Family-to-Family for family caregivers and Peer-to-Peer for persons with mental illness. Also offered

Family-to-Family Education Programs
The NAMI Family-to-Family education program is a free 12-week course for families and caregivers of individual with mental illness. The course is taught by trained family members. In Our Own Voice
In Our Own Voice is a unique public education program in which two trained speakers share compelling personal stories about living with mental illness and achieving recovery. Police School Sessions
NAMI Montgomery County works closely with Montgomery County Emergency Services (MCES) on programs to divert from the criminal justice system, persons with mental illness.  One of these is the Crisis Intervention Specialist Program, or "Police School."  NAMI presents In Our Own Voice at Police School twice each month.
